You have made the right choice. Before starting with any language I would suggest you start with the basics i.e HTML CSS and JavaScript. You may want to be the god of another specific language but then HTML CSS and Javascript are the base foundation of all languages. I have just completed with HTML and CSS. So I will be sharing my perception with you people just to get my knowledge broader in this field. Hoping that may help you too.
